How to Flash Android ROM for Samsung Mobile Phones via Odin . Maybe some of my friends are all familiar with the flash term. Basically, flash or better known as install or install (rom android) is the process to install, downgrade / reinstall rom into the phone / android based devices.
Installing Stock / Custom ROM android is not a difficult matter to do. And I am sure that everyone can do it. But it takes an understanding, precision and caution before or while doing so.
Why so, because this process is very vulnerable to failures that can make android phone can not startup up homescreen. Or better known as bootlop. For installation of rom android, which in this case is samsung phone, there are 2 ways that we can do. #First flash via ODIN (using computer) and the #Seconds Via recovery menu. However, according to the title, for this review I will only discuss about the flash via odin only.
Odin is the most commonly used app for flash rom android and installs custom recovery like TWRP. Another reason why many people use this app is because it is easy to use. Then how to use this app to install rom into samsung phone? Here's the explanation.

Step # 2. Turn off the phone. Go to the downloading menu by pressing the " Power + Home + Volume Down " button simultaneously for about 3 to 5 seconds. Press the " Up Volume " button again to continue.
Step # 3. If it is on the downloading menu, then connect the phone to the computer via usb cable.
Step # 4. Extract the ODIN from the zip file then run by right click, select run as administrator. Before continue, make sure there is a usb port ID under "ID: COM", if it is not there, try changing the usb cable or transferring usb cable to other usb port.
Step # 5. Click the "AP" button and locate ROM (tar.md5 file extension) will be installed into the phone. After the meet, click open then proceed by clicking the start button on odin.

Step # 6. This installation process will take a few minutes. Please wait. After the installation is complete and successful, there will be a " PASS! " Message in the upper left of odin. At this stage, my friend can unplug the usb cable and close the application odin.
Step # 7. Go back to phone. The phone will automatically restart / reboot. Once again wait a while until the phone goes to the android initial settings menu. Congratulations, the installation of the new rom is complete, Please set in accordance with the wishes of my friend.

If Failed, What to Do?
As I have emphasized from the beginning, that is important point to do is to BACKUP first. Because if there is a failure in the installation, then we can do a restore back. But if you forget to backup, try to do the following steps:- Update the Samsung Driver's ODIN and USB apps
- Replace usb cable or move it to other usb port
- Re-run ODIN (Run as administrator)
