What is an Android Root? What are the advantages & disadvantages?  - Talking about Android, will never be endless & for OS   Starting from the bottom, middle to upper, among children, adolescents and adults.  Whether it's in Indonesia, or around the world.

Since its launch for the first time in 2008, the Android OS has become viral talks to date.  In addition, there are so many new terms are heard, one of them the term ROOT.  This term may already be familiar to most of the android-based phone users, but there is not knowing anything at all.

Uniquely, of the many users, there are at least 3 groups that I can classify about their understanding of the term.  First, people who have not known / laity. Secondly, people who already know, but do not know what Root and Third are root users of the Android operating system.

Of the 3 groups above, which are you?  The first, second or third?  Hehehe Please answer in the heart then yes ... Then what is the root of Android?  What are the advantages and disadvantages?  Here's the full explanation.

Understanding Root Android

"   Root"   when translated into Indonesian means "Root" or "Basic" is a privileged control, multak, absolute user to access system / sub system or power to access and execute all files, commands & system.  In other words, root gives unlimited control to its users to do what it wants.

The Android root is almost similar to JailBreak to Apple's proprietary iOS operating system, both of which provide privileged controls & give users full access to do what they want them to do.

Android Root Excess

The advantage is to allow users to get into the bottom of the system.  Whether it is to modify the system, change the interface, tweak it, delete the built-in app that can not be deleted through the application settings, install certain applications that require root access, improve performance & many other unlimited advantages.

If likened, the root is the same as the administrator on windows where the user can do anything in the Windows OS.

Android Root Downside

Weakness / lack of root itself, of course, has its own impact.  Here are the disadvantages.

#First   ,
Google as owner of the Android Operating System strictly forbids anyone to root their operating system.  The reason is quite simple, which is a smartphone security problem.

What kind of security does he mean?  Security here is the security here is the security for the Android operating system is not destroyed, in the box tweaking or even to a more severe though.  Rooting will open all OS security systems.  Of course this would be very dangerous if done by a layman.

In addition, rooting will also open access to viruses that anytime can enter into the Android operating system. Virus is a program designed to do certain things, such as credit card numbers, videos, photos, confidential documents and other important data and then sent to penghnya.

# Secondly   ,
As we all know, that every android-based phone distributor, forbids any user to root.  If that happens, then we are not allowed to warranty claims.

What is the reason?  Why did it happen?  Proverbial like when buying an electronic item, where the goods must be fitted with several seals.  This seal aims to protect the goods in order to remain in intact and safe condition, until the warranty of the goods is to be claimed.

Well this also applies to the phones we buy. When rooting the mobile operating system, indirectly we have damaged the seal.  If the seal is damaged, then to make a claim the phone warranty can not be done anymore.

Types of Root Applications

Nowadays there are many applications that can be used.  CWM or Custom TWRP is also available.  For the name of the application, you can see in the following list.

Of each application mentioned above, there are mobile phones and brands of mobile phones.  For example Kingroot can be used to root against Samsung Galaxy J Series, A Series, S Series and so on.  But there are certain types / brands of mobile phones that still can not he root.

Likewise with other root applications, sometimes can be used for type A, but can not be used against Type / brand B, C, D etc & vice versa.  So we can try it one by one so we know what kind of application that match the phone you use.

Suggestion

Rooting is sometimes required against mobile phones, but for those of you who are new / laity, should not need to do root, because the risk may not be proportional to the benefits.  But if in a state of forced, I suggest you better ask for help.

Thus a brief explanation of   Understanding, Advantages & Disadvantages Root Android   above, hopefully there are benefits.  Thanks & Best Regards !!!
